In addition to remodeling the shower, the homeowners installed wood flooring, widened key doors and added additional lighting.

Accessibility to tub/shower
Inadequate maneuvering room

Removed existing tub
Large curbless shower with 2x2 mosaic floor for traction
Corner bench
Added new fixtures with handheld shower wand
Decorator grab bars
New high traction floor tile throughout bath
Glass block window
Corner commode with grab bar to increase maneuvering room
Additional lighting

In addition to remodeling the wet areas, the homeowners widened key doors, remodeled their vanity areas and added additional lighting.

Steps to front porch restricted access
Raised foyer with steps down into family room and dining room

Solution:

Lowered front porch
Eliminated raised foyer
Reframed and lowered existing front door
New front walk with slight ramp

By solving the entrance accessibility problem the homeowners were able to remain in their home which led to extensive remodeling of the kitchen, master bedroom and bath.
