For more than ten years Tapestry Custom Homes LLC has successfully built and renovated homes in the Dallas/ Fort Worth Metroplex. Today, our primary market is North Dallas and Collin County. While we maintain a small lot inventory in Stonebridge Ranch, McKinney, we also assist clients in locating their perfect home site through our affiliated real estate brokerage.

Owner/manager William S. Slease is a second-generation homebuilder. He was a U.S. Navy officer during the Viet Nam era, later earned an M.B.A. in finance and was a banker specializing in commercial real estate transactions. In the early '90s he formed his own real estate firm focused on brokerage, land development, and residential construction.

Bill is joined by his wife Judy in the day-to-day operations of Tapestry. She manages the office while exploring new ideas, products and procedures to support the company's ongoing commitment to elevate Universal Design concepts in the homebuilding industry. This past year Judy received her CAPS designation.

Tapestry also offers consulting services to homebuyers. Whether clients are able bodied or living with a disability, seeking a new or pre-owned home, there are important issues to consider during the acquisition process. Is the home accessible? If not, could it be made accessible? At what cost? Are the bathroom and kitchen adequate or would they require extensive renovation? Is there room for an elevator? As Universal Design experts, we are uniquely equipped to provide recommendations which can prevent unpleasant and costly surprises at a later date.
